Didn't know if you knew this, but...

..the Universe sends me messages.  Well, actually, the Universe sends everyone messages, but mine come by email.

Because sometimes, when they use the normal way of communicating, I don't hear..or listen..or take the time.

So, being that the Universe is really totally smart, the Universe decided that since I practically live on the computer..well, not so much "on" as in on-top-of, but as in work and work and Pinterest, and Facebook and did I mention work? ..that the best way to get to me is via email.

So, today I get this:

As you know, Colleen, for those already within time and space, their lives are usually all about finding love and making money.

Yet not so long ago, while awaiting their first turn, Colleen, breathing would have been enough.

So much air, so little time .
    The Universe

Yep...so much air..and time is, well, very valuable for us all.

I have decided to take a hiatus from blogging for a while..to breathe..to rest my eyes..and to enjoy Spring.  and maybe summer as well..

So, I am leaving you with this update:

1. My blue-uglies have been corralled once again and are pouting in the corner of my mind.  I will leave them there to think about their behavior and act like grown-ups.

2. I have secured employment, albeit possible temporary, and all is good.  Benefits have transferred over and the cut in pay is doable.  And I like the new place.  I am working half time at the old while their transition takes place and half time and a "sister" company until I am able to give them full time.

3. Gracie (our trailer) has been reduced to her bare frame..well..almost.  Mr. B admitted she is probably going to be more work that previously thought.  However, we both agree she's totally worth it.

4. Daughter graduates with her Masters on May 5th on Colorado - this is the one who didn't even go back to school until her first was in college and all the time held a full time job and had 2 other children still at home.  To say I am proud is a massive understatement..

5. I admittedly enjoy Pinterest..it's like a magazine that I don;t have to think too much about or read all the articles..so you will see me there often.  It's my guilty-non-thinking-mind-numbing pleasure.

I love you guys.  I really do,  And I will be keeping up on you and sneaking around your blogs..may not comment, but know I will be there..
..and I will leave you with something I found on Pinterest and thought..

"Boy, have they got me pegged.."...

Oh, I mean this one...

I'll be seeing you.  I'll be back.  I thank you all for caring and..

I love you.

I'm so close to "there" myself that I can't begrudge your flying away, Little Butterfly. Have a great time and should you find yourself back in Blogdom again, please look me up.

Hope that you get that little vacation home ready and have lots of great adventures. Oh, hearty congrats to your daughter. She's done amazingly well for herself. You've every right to be proud.

I'll quote that line Pat shared with me today from Sara Teasdale's poem...
Give all you have for loveliness...

Well I although I certainly understand, I will miss you. You are a delightful wonderful woman.

Good for the new job, good for the pouting blue uglies.

Enjoy your time.

Good for you Colleen! Life always has a way of turning right side up after it flips upside down. I hear ya about those nasty blue-uglies. And good for your daughter! That is the same way I got my college degree. We take it much more seriously when we are older and know what college is really for (not the parties or looking for a husband!). And I'll look for your name when you find something of mine that you think is re-pinworthy. Seems like I have taken the spring off of blogging too although I haven't formally announced it. Just have a touch of blogger burnout and all of the posts I see seem to be about the same ol' stuff! I'll anxiously await your return to land of blog!

Enjoy a totally guilt-free hiatus Colleen. As they say in the carnival biz - we'll see you down the road :) and you're right - time is valuable and it flies by us at warp speed sometimes. Congrats on the job! and the kid (haha), that's excellent.

Maybe a keep in touch post once a month would be a nice treat! I admire you for doing this. I have felt a tug but don't know how to break away. I want to read, I want to explore my world but not from my computer! Glad you found employment and corralled the uglies. Congratulations to your daughter! Pinterest is my BIG slice of happy each day. You are the bomb, which is so 5 years ago but what the hell:)
Blue Devils, that's what they're called in Prayers for Sale. Damn things :(
Glad about the employment, proud as punch for your daughter! a bit green about your project ;)
As for pinterest, I make no apologies. It is a happy place, a magazine with no ads, just pretty pictures and inspiring words.
Let's have lunch, I still have a little something for you :)

Just saying hello. Hope that you and Mr. B have had a chance to try out the trailer and that you've found that spring is great. Soon you'll find that summer is, too. Hope that your daughter had an amazing graduation last month!

Hi there lady, just stopping by to say hi and let you know I've thought of you today. I hope your sabbatical is doing you a world of good. Take good care.

Me again... I will be heading down the Jersey shore for a few days of relaxation and thought of you and Ella (think she lives down that way if memory serves me right). Hope you and Mr. B are doing well and Gracie, unlike Humpty Dumpty, got back together again!

I thought of you when I wrote my post about my little rescue dog, Colleen. I've been out of touch for a while and know how hard it is to fit things into life's busyness...I'm also too aware of how depression robs us of all enthusiasm.

I do hope you're enjoying your new job and your blog-free time. Take very good care of yourself, and I hope we hear from you again soon...

Love and hugs,
Lynette
