(Picture Elvis with his quivering lip.) Thank you..thankyaverymuch...

I think I'm in seriously "like" with my letter-carrier..well, package carrier..

He brought me some wonderful things from family, friends and fellow blogger-friends!

The first book, The Magic of Sisters, was sent to me and to my 2 sisters by our wonderfully thoughtful niece- she saw the book and though of the 3 of us- her Mom, Kathy and Gerri and I. What a sweetie!
Apronisms and The Apron Book was a gift from my sister Kathy - and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the both of them! The Apronisms is a small one that I can keep in my purse..and the big one? Well, I have wanted that for sometime!

This beautiful old book, a Russian Fairytale, was my winnings from a contest at a great artistic blogger's blog, Artsy-Craftsy Merchant (http://alexalett.blogspot.com/)
Beautiful buttons, French ribbon, flowers and a hand-made snowman creation! Yay me! I Won!!
Thanks, Alexa, they are even more beautiful "in person"...

And, even more....Betty (http://www.joyinourlives.blogspot.com/) arranged this darling painted spoon purchase from Laurie at http://www.lauriescharmingdesigns.blogspot.com/ as a surprise for me...and Yes! I was surprised...especially when I saw that the talented, very thoughtful, generous and good-blogging-buddy, Laurie has ADDED one of her "bent silverware" easels with a beautiful nest magnet for me...Wow..wowzer..wowzie..woohoo..

This is a close up (sort of) of the great quilt Rachael and Jeff gave me (made by Rachael's Mom) - I wanted to show you the teensy-tiny squares! It's back-lit because I have it hanging in my art-room window. Pretty, huh?!

OK, so one last cute find- thrifting today, I spotted these cute little red-bottomed ice cream dishes..they're really small (good for ONE scoop..) but cute as can be - especially for $.75 each!

So, there's my thank you's, my bargain's and my sincere appreciation for my letter carrier...

Oh yeah, and my family, friends and blogging buddies, too!

Thank you. thankyouverymuch.

Elvis has left the building...

Hello there Utah, Please forgive my boldness, but I am doing a bit of blog surfing to tell people about my giveaway. There are no gimmicks. This is just my way of celebrating two years of blogging. I hope that you will do me the honor of coming over and taking a look.

The spoons are so cute and I love the one scoop ice cream dishes. That is a great way to keep from eating too much ice cream! Well, as long as you don't go back for seconds.

My birds: Yes my dad feeds them year round, taking warm water when the pond is frozen over. He buys his seed at Intermountain Farmers...the big blue bag he says..LOL We get ours at Wally-mart and they still come!
