Lulu & Braxton's big adventure!

Lulu is not quite the car rider that Braxton is. Never was. Maybe it was something in her past life that made her wary of car rides.

You know, taking her somewhere and leaving forever..Sad, huh?

Braxton has always taken to the car just as Eeyore would...."ok, I'll go if you want me to...but I'll just sit on the seat here and not get excited...I won't be a bother...ok...I'm ready..."

Lulu is like "helpidon'twanttobeherehelp!helpmenow..getoutgetoutgetout!!"

And sometimes we just take them to the vet or to the groomers, especially in the winter, when I don't even go out much.. their apprehension is understandable.

So today I had some errands to run and decided to take the pups with me - it's was a warm, beautiful day and I thought..(sing along here..)

"(Workin' at the) car wash. Workin' at the car wash yeah ! Come on and sing it with me car wash. Get with the feelin' y'all car wash yeah."

So, can you guess where I took them? Yep, to the bank! Oh, and the car wash..

Here's what the trip looked like, from Lulu's perspective..

YEEEEEOOWWWW! Get me out of here!

Hey, look, there's people walking...

The sun's hot through the window, huh?

Ahhhh, air conditioning vent!!!!

Why, hello lady at the bank...got a cookie???

Security camera!! Extreme close-up! Smile!

Where we goin'now? Huh? Huh? Where we goin' now??

Geesh.....Would you CHILL - you're embarrassing me..

It's just the car wash place -look how dirty her windows are....

Well, hello car wash-man! Whatcha doin' there? Huh? Whatcha doin'?? You gotta cookie for me??

What the crap??????? We're getting a bath???????

I'm outta here.....

WILL YOU PLEASE GET OFF ME! IT'S ON THE OUTSIDE, YOU IDIOT!!

Oh, well lookie there, you're right...huh....

Cool......

I knew that.....(whew..)

We're comin' to the end - I see DAYLIGHT! We've made it!!

YEAH!

Oh, for the love of Lassie, we're SAFE!! Oh, Braxton, my heart's just pounding!

Hey, there's more people...."Hi People!!"

Uh oh.... crack the window, I'm feeling faint...

Oh, too bad she didn't get the inside of the car cleaned, huh?

Sorry Mom....

Hi there, thanks for the visit to my blog. Love your dogs, I have 2 chihuahua's. Our youngest dog Pixie also hates riding in the car. She paces the entire time, from one side to the other. It'll drive ya crazy! However Tinkerbelle loves to ride in the car!

Funny! My dogs love to ride in the car. The little one likes to sleep on the console and the bigger one sits in the driver's seat! We did car washes this weekend too. I wanted to take the dogs, but hubby said "no", he was afraid they would go crazy!

Wanna see what I've been up to ??

I always wanted a dollhouse. My dad was a carpenter and was asked by one of his wealthy customers to make a dollhouse for their daughter. I...
